It is the purpose of this office to protect the various public monuments that the properties of the county, public and private, are tied to and to act as a resource for the public, the county departments and county management as it pertains to the placement of ownership parcels in Wasatch County.

The Wasatch County Surveyor’s Office does not survey private property. Please contact a private surveyor for this service.

Instructions

Please note: The system will only stay active for 20 minutes. Please have all information and documents ready before filling out the application.

Fill out the required information in the Additional Information section.

  1.  Please ensure that your email is correct as all communication will be sent to that address. Ensure that the number of sheets are correct as this will determine your bill. If this is incorrect you may have your application rejected. b. c.
  2. Once the Additional Information section is filled out upload the .DWG of your line work, the PDF of your Record of Survey (Ensure that your record of survey is in black and white), and the Word document of your Written Legal Description. Failure to supply the documents in the requested formats may result in application rejection.

Form Submission and Payment Process 

  1. Once finished click submit. You should receive an email within 15-30 minutes asking for payment for your Record of Survey application. You should also receive an email confirming your form was submitted. Please use the link in the email to pay your bill. Once paid, you will need to wait several days for the payment to clear. Once cleared the Surveyor's office will file your Record of Survey and you will be notified of the filing number.
