The Wasatch County Victim Assistance Program is a branch of the Wasatch County Attorney's Office. The Wasatch County Victim Assistance Program provides support, information, and advocacy for individuals impacted by crime.
Our team works closely with prosecutors, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure victims receive the care and guidance they deserve.
Our goal is to help victims of crime feel safe, informed, and empowered throughout the criminal justice process.

Direct Services Include:
- Crisis intervention and safety planning
- Criminal justice advocacy and support including criminal case notifications
- Acts as a liaison between victims and prosecutors, law enforcement, and other agencies
- Provides information and assistance filing protective orders and stalking injunctions
- Provides information and assistance with Crime Victim Reparations applications and restitution claims
- Assists with victim impact statements
- Referrals to other agencies and programs
Declaration of Victim's Rights
Victims of crime have a constitutional and statutory right to be treated with dignity, respect, courtesy, and sensitivity. The rights that are extended to victims and witnesses of crime should be honored and protected by law in a manner no less vigorous than protections afforded criminal defendants.
