NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21
The WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 tax on a $468,000 residence would increase from $40.41 to $44.27, which is $3.86 per year.
The WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 tax on a $468,000 business would increase from $73.48 to $80.50, which is $7.02 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 would receive an additional $270,429 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 9.55% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The WASATCH COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO 21 invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.

- Wasatch County is soliciting professional qualifications from all qualified applicants to provide Medical Director services for the Wasatch County Jail located at 1361 US Highway 40, Heber City, Utah. The selected independent contractor will function as the primary care physician providing and overseeing all medical services within the jail. A Utah physician license without restriction and U.S. DEA license without restriction will be required. Wasatch County intends to negotiate a contract with the selected provider for continued service. This ongoing service will include extensive work in medical coordination, staff and process management, and direct medical service provision.
- Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Water Use and Preservation Consulting Firm in Wasatch County, Utah Wasatch County is soliciting the services and requesting the qualifications of a professional planning or engineering firm (“Consultant”), to work with Wasatch County on a local planning assistance grant primarily funded by Utah DEQ to update the County’s General Plan specific to water use and preservation. While Wasatch County is currently engaged in a comprehensive update to the General Plan, the scope of these services will be limited to the updating of the water use and preservation element to contribute to the comprehensive update.
