Due to current and forecasted weather conditions and extreme fire danger throughout Utah, Stage 1 fire restrictions are in place as of June 28 for all state lands and all unincorporated private lands.
This order does not affect private lands within incorporated towns or city limits.

- No open fires except in established facilities in improved campgrounds or day-use areas on public lands, or in permanently constructed fire pits at permanent private dwellings served by pressurized running water.
- No smoking, except in an enclosed vehicle, trailer or building, a developed recreation site or in paved areas free from dry vegetation.
- No cutting, welding or grinding metal in areas of dry vegetation.
- No operating motorcycles, chainsaws, ATVs, or other small internal combustion engines without a spark arrestor.
- No fireworks, tracer ammunition or other pyrotechnics devices including exploding targets.
