Property tax appeal applications are now available until Sept 15th.
Applications will not be accepted after that point. Click here for application
If you wish to appeal some aspect concerning the valuation of your property, you must file an appeal application with the Wasatch County Board of Equalization. All evidence supporting your market value estimation must be included when filing your application for each appealed parcel. If supporting evidence is not included, the board will deny the appeal.
All appeal forms and evidence must be received online, in person, or by mail before the filing deadline of September 15, at 5 p.m. Paper forms are available in the Clerk/Auditor's Office, 25 N. Main St., Heber City. For assistance, please call 435-657-3190.
Hearing times will be set as needed. Please provide valid contact information, including current phone numbers, and make yourself available for calls from Wasatch County.
Multiple Parcels
An appeal involving multiple parcels may be submitted, provided the parcels have the same owner and are in the same general area. Supporting evidence is required for each parcel appealed.
Exemptions
Primary Residence Exemption forms should be submitted to the Assessor's Office before June to avoid the need to appear before the Board of Equalization.
